Geometric Pikes Peak

A church needed to dress up their sanctuary entrance and had an idea - we brought it to life!

Story

This was a fun scene to create at Trace Church – it really made a big design impact for their sanctuary entrance and coffee bar area. It took what would have been a boring blank wall and added texture and life. I was really excited about their geometric modern design for a mural of the Pikes Peak Mountain Range!

Trace church has a really incredible creative team so I can’t take credit for the concept that was originally designed by Stuart Duffy. We made a few modifications to make it mural friendly – It is always fun to hear about an idea and be a part of bringing it to life!

We originally hired Mike to do some artwork for the kids' environments at our church. He created gorgeous murals of realistic-feeling forest scenes and animal silhouettes that literally had people stopping in their tracks and gasping. We have hired him repeatedly since then for different kinds of artwork and projects and his work always goes above and beyond. I also commissioned a portrait of a child and animal as a gift for someone and it was one of the best gifts I've ever given away. Mike is not only a gifted artist - he is also a good communicator and a businessman of integrity.
